As part of the Great Start Child Care Quality Project, the ECIC has launched Great Start Connect to help link parents and those caring for young children with the resources, supports and services needed to give Michigan children a Great Start. As part of our new initiative, Great Start CONNECT, ECIC created a new online statewide database of licensed, registered child care and early education programs in Michigan. Now, families can access this database 24 hours a day, seven days a week to quickly and conveniently search for and contact child care providers who match their needs.
